Macieira 5 stars Brandy
With a history dating back to 1865, Macieira has accompanied generations of consumers and connoisseurs, since kings and poets, the connoisseurs and pure lovers of brandy, within and across borders. Recognized internationally, Macieira has won many awards since their presence in the World Exhibition in Paris in 1889.
The most modern and innovative qualit contro techniques are employed in order to ensure the original characteristics of the product. Pure, crystaline and demineralised water is added to the brandy that results from the destilation, adhering to a highly demanding process that provides the highest quality product which is then carefully aged. This is followed by filtration and bottling.
t has a golden brown colour, marked with green and orange hues. The aspect is clear and bright. On the nose a delicately complex and typical characteristic of the wines that are destilled. The use of vinho abafado gives a subtle notes of anise and coriander. On the palate it is smooth, rih and well structured, with subtle tannins. The different flavours, vanilla, apricot, peach and honey are perfectly married with the discreet presence of chestnut sop.
Store and serve advices
Serve at 18-20ºC. This wine spirit can be consumed immediately after bottling or be stored and age for many many years.
Good as a digestif after a good meal and accompanied by a nice cigar.
