This company, whose oenology work is currently in charge of dynamic and proactive double Gabriela Canossa and Vitor Carvalho, has shown a special interest both for innovation and research, either by rehabilitation of some varieties almost abandoned as they are respectively , the Tinta Francisca and Touriga Fêmea.
This quaint wine originating in the careful vinification of grapes Touriga Fêmea, is the clearest sign of this interest and commitment to innovation and research company wants new products or rehabilitation caste almost abandoned. This variety is characterized by a very low production, high concentrations of phenolic and aromatic. Prepared according to the strictest wine making practices resulting in a powerful but soft, having only made a small stage in barrels used to this way all their varietal character excels at giving you just a subtle touch of complexity.
It shows an intense ruby colour; in the nose it is a perfect call to the senses, very noble, well integrated aromas, plenty of ripe black fruit, slightly jammy. Full-bodied in a combination of round tannins and powerful aromas. A long, persistent finish the pleasure of tasting this curious and surprising wine. It can be drunk now, but if one is patient one will benefit from the evolution of the wine in the bottle.
