Vinha da Urze Reserve White 2014
Quinta da Urze is located above the Ribeira d’Aguiar where, opposite to the crags, there are the remains of a once important Roman quarry. This is where the rare mountain eagle (Águia Real) has its nesting sites. The property covers 190 hectares of schist and poor soil.
Staging in stainless steel vats and French barrels with batonnage.
Straw yellow and bright, wide and elegant nose, spectrum of fruits and flowers, light vanilla. On the palate, good acidity, medium body and persistent, with a citrus finish.
Store and serve advices
Serve slightly chilled between 8 and 12º.
Good with fatty fish like tuna or salmon with green asparagus crunchy, slightly smoked mackerel.
