Piorro Rose Sparkling 2011
Selection of the best grapes of Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz from our vineyard "Quinta de São Bernardo", located in Barqueiros, a Baixo-Corgo Sub-Region.
After a manual harvesting in individual boxes of 25kg, the grapes were gently pressed and cooled, and the must was placed into stainless steel vats where it fermented at a controlled temperature of 16ºC. The process followed the traditional method of bottle fermentation, which took place in a fresh cellar for nine months.
It has pale pink colour, delicate flavours with notes of cherries and raspberries. Good balance between fruit and acidity, fine and persistent bubbles, with a long and elegant finish.
Store and serve advices
Should be served chilled between 6ºC and 8ºC.
Aperitif par excellence. By its acidity and freshness, can also be a curious combination with strong dishes such as fatty fish and meats.
