Piorro White Sparkling 2011
Selection of the best grapes of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca from our vineyard "Quinta de São Bernardo", located in Barqueiros, a Baixo-Corgo Sub-Region.
After a manual harvesting in individual boxes of 25kg, the grapes were gently pressed and cooled, and the must was placed into stainless steel vats where it fermented at a controlled temperature of 16ºC. The process followed the traditional method of bottle fermentation, which took place in a fresh cellar for nine months.
It has golden color, flavours of white flours and nuts. Well balanced acidity, elegant and fine bubbles, good texture and a long creamy ending.
Store and serve advices
Should be served chilled between 6ºC and 8ºC.
Especially recommend to accompany starters, caviar, and fatty fish.
